Vole Problems in Westland, Michigan
Residents in Westland, Michigan are experiencing vole problems.
While cleaning out my garden for the winter I noticed numerous holes in the planter and adjoining areas of the yard. After watching from an upstairs window I noticed at least 5 voles entering and exiting the holes. I have not tried any remediation but I want to get rid of them before they enter into my home. I have searched the rest of my yard and haven’t found them in other locations but it is a small yard and I assume that they are throughout. -Jared G
I need to get rid of these voles! They are making huge holes and piles of dirt all over my yard. They are burrowing under my driveway, shed and along my foundations. Along with some of my shrubs in the front of the house. When we had a dog, there we slightly fewer, but they didn\'t care! It is getting worse. -Wendy M
A vole (or voles) is tearing up my yard, leaving large holes that I have stepped in and nearly twisted my ankle. I have 2 dogs that have encountered the animal at night. I am very concerned for their health and safety as well as my own. I recently moved to Michigan and have only lived in my house one month. I just saw a vole for the first time tonight. It left my yard when I let the dogs out. Eventually I will put up a privacy fence in the backyard; will that help to keep them out of the yard and away from my dogs? -Ashley P
We solve many types of wildlife control conflicts in
Westland and surrounding areas. Give us a call if you need expert animal removal and/or live wildlife trapping.
We can also perform an inspection of your property to evaluate the problem.
Many of the projects we solve involve
raccoon families in attics and chimneys,
mud swallow nests on stucco,
woodpeckers drilling siding,
voles and gophers destroying lawns,
rats or squirrels thumping and bumping around inside walls and in attics,
skunks stealing pet food
and snakes living in crawlspaces and stone walls.
Along with physical damage and disease, wild animals also bring along disturbance and nuisance with all their noise and
commotion and smell. Baby raccoons chirp and chitter like little birds; raccoons and rats will fight all night and keep people awake;
skunk smell takes the cake, but have you ever smelled a dead animal in your ventilation system?
We have seen much, much more than these problems, but that is a general idea of the kinds of problems that my professional wildlife
removal operators and I are prepared to solve.
Not only do my technicians and I trap and remove problem wild animals,
we do a lot of other dirty work, too.

decontamination, repairs, above ground and below ground rodent slick fencing,
odor control for skunk spray,
and the like. We are a full service pest control company with a wide range of animal control solutions.
I have been in the professional wildlife control business for many years.
My favorite stories and experiences are removing bats from schools and churches.

Wildlife Problems in Westland, Michigan
On the air and in the ground, the local wildlife in Westland, Michigan is causing problems.
We recently relocated and painted the exterior of the house. The painters did not mentioned any evidence of pests. Just this week I started hearing the loud noise on one side of the house and I pinpointed a hole on the wood siding. I had the suspicion it was a woodpecker and today for the second time I went out while I hear the noise and I confirmed it was 2 woodpeckers. I have researched reasons and controls, but would like your professional assessment and recommendation. -Casey B
There is a raccoon in my crawls space. I live in a brownstone home and have checked the roof several times but cannot figure out where the raccoon is entering the house. I caught one a couple of years ago but am so far unable to catch this one.. Also the raccoon is not there every night. The biggest problem is that I can\'t figure out how\'s its entering the crawl space. -Trevor H
We have a skunk that was living under an extension of our house, and it fought with some animal and sprayed its stink all under the bottom of that room’s foundation. It really smells bad. I\'ve excluded the skunk’s access to that area, but we\'re having trouble getting rid of the smell. I\'m hoping you have an odor control solution for us!!! -Joely G
