Animal Problems in Roseville, Michigan

Residents in Roseville, Michigan have been experiencing problems with animals lately.

An animal (probably a skunk or raccoon) has been crawling into a vent by our A/C into the ventilation which is on the ceiling of our lower level.  I\'ve only heard it a couple of times before and wasn\'t sure until the past few days. Tonight when I heard it slide in and land in the duct (above my head!) I banged on the duct. Instead of running back out the vent, I heard it walk across the drop ceiling. That was the first time I\'ve heard it go beyond the ventilation duct. A minute or so later, I thought I might have smelled a faint skunk smell. It was almost 1 a.m. and as I laid in bed, unable to sleep, I heard it curling up in the corner of the basement ceiling, which is just below the corner of my bedroom wall. Then I remembered that I heard scampering in the middle of the day earlier this week, again in the drop ceiling. I thought it was a mouse (although that\'s never happened in 30 years here!) and had bought poison but not put it down yet. Now, on second thought, it could have been bigger than that...maybe even a baby skunk?! I have been waiting for winter to be over to find someone to come plug up that vent and look for other inlets. We recently remodeled our kitchen and put foam insulation and I\'ve not had mice since. I know the animal goes out at night, because I\'ve heard it come in a couple of times before, usually around 10p-midnight. If we knew it was out, we could plug it up then. Otherwise, I\'m concerned about it spraying if someone tries to capture it inside the house. Obviously, I want rid of this, to plug up the vent, find other inlets, and clean up any mess it\'s caused.          -Peter T

We solve many types of wildlife control conflicts in Roseville and surrounding areas. Give us a call if you need expert animal removal and/or live wildlife trapping. We can also perform an inspection of your property to evaluate the problem.

Many of the projects we solve involve raccoon families in attics and chimneys, mud swallow nests on stucco, woodpeckers drilling siding, voles and gophers destroying lawns, rats or squirrels thumping and bumping around inside walls and in attics, bat infestations, skunks stealing pet food and snakes living in crawlspaces and stone walls.

Along with physical damage and disease, wild animals also bring along disturbance and nuisance with all their noise and commotion and smell. Baby raccoons chirp and chitter like little birds; raccoons and rats will fight all night and keep people awake; skunk smell takes the cake, but have you ever smelled a dead animal in your ventilation system? We have seen much, much more than these problems, but that is a general idea of the kinds of problems that my professional wildlife removal operators and I are prepared to solve.

Not only do my technicians and I trap and remove problem wild animals, we do a lot of other dirty work, too. Don't hesitate to call us for dead animal removal, pigeon waste cleanup, bat guano removal, mouse droppings, decontamination, repairs, above ground and below ground rodent slick fencing, odor control for skunk spray, and the like. We are a full service pest control company with a wide range of animal control solutions.

I have been in the professional wildlife control business for many years. My favorite stories and experiences are removing bats from schools and churches.

Rodent Problems in Roseville, Michigan

Rodents are causing a ruckus and quite a load of problems in Roseville, Michigan

There are mice in my garage wall between my house and garage, it smells like a nest. Last year I could smell it but then when winter came it went away. I noticed some mice in the trash cans this winter. Now it\'s pretty smelly in the house again, I thought it was a bird’s nest at first because I have birds by my chimney but I’m pretty sure it’s mice now.        -Gus R

A few weeks ago, our Jack Russell had the opportunity to meet a muskrat out by the community pond. Good news for her that it was just a simple bite. Our thinking was that it may have been a fluke and the muskrat would leave because of the encounter. Well, it didn\'t. It found itself a girlfriend and is setting up housekeeping in the same pond. Of course, for the bite reason we wish to see the muskrats leave. We also are noting damage to the shorelines of this very small pond. -Jason W

We have about 200 holes that have been dug in our yard, I’ve talked to other neighbors and the gophers only hit my property. 5 years ago we had a similar problem and an area caved in about 2 feet, I was told that it was the den. This is a rental property and I\'m DONE dealing with these gophers.  I need a permanent solution and I need it fast.                  -Catarina M
