Portsmouth, Virginia has Numerous Skunk Problems
Portsmouth, Virginia wants to get rid of skunks.
I have seen skunks outside at night outside of my house. We also have a hole were an animal has dug under our back porch. I thought I saw a skunk leave that hole a few nights ago while I was outside. Well our back porch is enclosed and we have a cellar door to basement (door is on the ground) and I entered the room today and I heard a meow like sound. At first I thought it was our cat, but I removed him from the room and the noise sounded as if it were coming from the cellar. I know it could be a cat but now I am scared it may be a skunk in the cellar. Bridgett K.
I believe I have skunks living in a drain in my yard. The smell is so strong in the front yard, and last night my dogs were sprayed. Lola C.
I think I have a skunk(s) under my outside front concrete steps. There is a hole in the concrete on the side of the steps and that's where they are entering. How do I get rid of them, make sure they're out, and block that area? Carolyn T.
We solve many types of wildlife control conflicts in
Portsmouth and surrounding areas. Give us a call if you need expert animal removal and/or live wildlife trapping.
We can also perform an inspection of your property to evaluate the problem.
Many of the projects we solve involve
raccoon families in attics and chimneys,
mud swallow nests on stucco,
woodpeckers drilling siding,
voles and gophers destroying lawns,
rats or squirrels thumping and bumping around inside walls and in attics,
skunks stealing pet food
and snakes living in crawlspaces and stone walls.
Along with physical damage and disease, wild animals also bring along disturbance and nuisance with all their noise and
commotion and smell. Baby raccoons chirp and chitter like little birds; raccoons and rats will fight all night and keep people awake;
skunk smell takes the cake, but have you ever smelled a dead animal in your ventilation system?
We have seen much, much more than these problems, but that is a general idea of the kinds of problems that my professional wildlife
removal operators and I are prepared to solve.
Not only do my technicians and I trap and remove problem wild animals,
we do a lot of other dirty work, too.
Don't hesitate to call us for dead animal removal,
pigeon waste cleanup, bat guano removal, mouse droppings,
decontamination, repairs, above ground and below ground rodent slick fencing,
odor control for skunk spray,
and the like. We are a full service pest control company with a wide range of animal control solutions.
I have been in the professional wildlife control business for many years.
My favorite stories and experiences are removing bats from schools and churches.

Raccoons are wreaking Portsmouth, Virginia
Homeowners in Portsmouth, Virginia are tired of raccoon problems.
We recently had a local company remove a mother raccoon and her babies from our attic by placing a one-away door on the site where the mother got in. Since then, we have been more and more concerned with the strong smell of urine in our dining room. Can you give me an estimate of what clean-up would cost? I don't think that area of the attic is very accessible since the people told us when setting up the one-way door that, if the raccoons didn't leave on their own, they would have to go in through the dining room ceiling. Patricia H.
We have a raccoon in our attic, and it makes its way between the first and second floors. We hear it in the morning and at night. Yep, basically whenever we are trying to get to sleep or stay that way. Bree B.
I rent a house that has an area underneath that is easy to access. I have seen a pack of 5 raccoons enter under the house and hear them almost nightly banging around and tearing ductwork. I also think a skunk may stay under the house from time to time. Infrequently, I will smell a skunk smell in my house, which I can not smell on the outside of the house. Great, the animals are ganging up on me. Travis Y.
