A large black snake darted out from one of our compost piles in our yard when my husband was \"turning\" the compost. The next day while walking in our yard we saw the snake sticking out of the same compost pile. The snake is black and moves very fast. After looking at pictures of Michigan snakes, I think it might be a black rat snake; however I am not positive. I am now afraid to go and get compost to use in my gardens. In general, I\'m uneasy about being alone in my yard now. I\'m having a family party this Saturday with little ones and I\'d like to know if I should be concerned. We play croquet on the lawn in front of the pile. Thanks for any help or suggestions. -Patricia M
One skunk seen in yard, probably under a shed that is on a raised wood platform and it got underneath. One dog was sprayed last week. I haven\'t smelled a skunk since the dog was sprayed, so I don\'t even know if there IS one under there. The dogs do go there and sniff around the shed every time they go outside. I want someone to check it out and possibly trap and remove the skunk. -Brian W
There is a vole in my yard, at least one that I have seen. I first noticed it in the backyard after we had the lawn aerated. It started stealing ground cherries from my patio and marking its territory there. Stinky. I managed to drive it away with ghost chilies but that only lasts so long. Now it (or its family members) have started digging through my son\'s covered sandbox. He is only 2 and still puts things in his mouth, like sometimes the sand. I have already cleaned the sandbox out once. I want those things out of my yard. I don\'t want my son to get sick and to be able use his sandbox. -Jaden D
We solve many types of wildlife control conflicts in
Commerce and surrounding areas. Give us a call if you need expert animal removal and/or live wildlife trapping.
We can also perform an inspection of your property to evaluate the problem.
Many of the projects we solve involve
raccoon families in attics and chimneys,
mud swallow nests on stucco,
woodpeckers drilling siding,
voles and gophers destroying lawns,
rats or squirrels thumping and bumping around inside walls and in attics,
skunks stealing pet food
and snakes living in crawlspaces and stone walls.
Along with physical damage and disease, wild animals also bring along disturbance and nuisance with all their noise and
commotion and smell. Baby raccoons chirp and chitter like little birds; raccoons and rats will fight all night and keep people awake;
skunk smell takes the cake, but have you ever smelled a dead animal in your ventilation system?
We have seen much, much more than these problems, but that is a general idea of the kinds of problems that my professional wildlife
removal operators and I are prepared to solve.
Not only do my technicians and I trap and remove problem wild animals,
we do a lot of other dirty work, too.
Don't hesitate to call us for dead animal removal,
pigeon waste cleanup, bat guano removal, mouse droppings,
decontamination, repairs, above ground and below ground rodent slick fencing,
odor control for skunk spray,
and the like. We are a full service pest control company with a wide range of animal control solutions.
I have been in the professional wildlife control business for many years.
My favorite stories and experiences are removing bats from schools and churches.

Crazy Critters in Commerce, Michigan
The animals in Commerce, Michigan are out, about, and stirring up trouble with the locals.
Several raccoons have moved into our attic, we purchased it in December & apparently the past owner had a significant problem with raccoons & neighbors don\'t know if it was ever resolved but there definitely was no decontamination cleanup done. The owner didn\'t disclose raccoon problem at all even during inspection when the man stated he smelled dead animal or vermin odor in attic. One of the females has had a litter but I\'m not sure how many are up there. It sounds like people in there with a heavy sound. It sounds like they’re scratching through ceiling now & my wife heard them tearing up something (my guess is insulation) & PVC piping a few days ago. Outside shingles have been removed by raccoons & we witness then in/out constantly. -Randy T
I have Approximately 30 pigeons nesting in my barn that I need to get rid of. Their filth and disease is not good for my horses or my cats. And they are having babies, a lot of them. Please let me know how to remove them and to disinfect the area before it gets worse. Thank you!! -Ingrid L
I have two skunks in my backyard under my shed, they come out every night, same time, close to where we sit, and I have a new puppy and new grandbaby. I’m not sure if they are siblings or parents, but it’s the same two at the same time, dusk or when it gets quiet, they follow the same path in and out of the yard. I live in a very residential, or else I would just deal with them myself, if you know what I mean. -Garth E
