Slick fencing & rodent barriers

Rodents and other wild animals can cause persistent problems for electrical substations, gas plants, refineries, airports, and commercial facilities. Not only do rodents cause their own damage by chewing on wires and equipment, but also they attract other wild animal predators, including birds. Hawks, owls, coyote, foxes, badgers, mountain lions, and weasels are drawn to areas where rodents are plentiful, causing an even greater wildlife control problem.

Allstate Animal Control offers a cost-effective animal deterrent system. Our rodent barriers prevent both aboveground and underground access to an area by rodents such as rats and squirrels, and also block out other wild animals such as raccoons and snakes. Preventing such land animals from accessing an area also greatly reduces the number of birds that come to the area.

Rodents at a substation will chew through wires, nest in breaker boxes, blow transformers, and generally interfere with electrical equipment and components. These animal activities cause power outages which are expensive to repair and can seriously affect distribution station performance and electrical transmissions. Such outages are also inconvenient for customers and can damage their computers and appliances.

Rodents and snakes at airports attract birds of prey, which enter the airspace and may cause damage to airplane and jet systems. Occasionally, such wildlife encounters even cause loss of human life. The easiest way to get rid of problematic birds in airspace is to remove their motivation for coming. Once the rodents and snakes are under control, the predatory birds will hunt elsewhere.

No power outage or electrical shutdown is necessary during installation of our rodent barrier and snake barrier. We can install our protective system while normal operations continue.

Let Allstate Animal Control provide the security, reliability, and protection you need.
