Swallow Nests in Tempe, Arizona
Tempe residents have the following concerns with controlling swallows.
I have what appear to be cliff swallows nesting above my front door in an overhead stucco ledge. They built a nest about a month ago and have had 4 babies that now seem to be adults. I knocked down the nest after the babies left the nest but we continue to have 5 or 6 perching everyday. They are trying to rebuild the nest. Lisa H.
Over the last 5 days or so we have noticed swallows building nests on our house and our neighbors' houses in our cul-de-sac. The number of birds seems to be getting larger. We want to know how to stop them from nesting now so it doesn't get worse. I would estimate 50-75 birds flying between the houses and starting to build multiple mud nests on the crevices of each house (downspouts, etc). I understand swallows are a protected species. How are we to get rid of them and ensure they don't come back? Brad P.
I am having a problem with mud swallows building under the eaves of my house on my front porch. There are droppings everywhere. We have lived in our home for three years, and this is the first year we have ever had a problem. We are also getting ready to sell our house, so it would be nice to have it fixed. Another concern is that I have two small children who are constantly going in and out of the front door. Any information you could provide me with would be greatly appreciated. Matt N.
These types of animal problems are more common than you might think. We can help you get rid of unwanted wildlife on your property.
We solve many types of wildlife control conflicts in
Tempe and surrounding areas. Give us a call if you need expert animal removal and/or live wildlife trapping.
We can also perform an inspection of your property to evaluate the problem.
Many of the projects we solve involve
raccoon families in attics and chimneys,
mud swallow nests on stucco,
woodpeckers drilling siding,
voles and gophers destroying lawns,
rats or squirrels thumping and bumping around inside walls and in attics,
skunks stealing pet food
and snakes living in crawlspaces and stone walls.
Along with physical damage and disease, wild animals also bring along disturbance and nuisance with all their noise and
commotion and smell. Baby raccoons chirp and chitter like little birds; raccoons and rats will fight all night and keep people awake;
skunk smell takes the cake, but have you ever smelled a dead animal in your ventilation system?
We have seen much, much more than these problems, but that is a general idea of the kinds of problems that my professional wildlife
removal operators and I are prepared to solve.
Not only do my technicians and I trap and remove problem wild animals,
we do a lot of other dirty work, too.
Don't hesitate to call us for dead animal removal,
pigeon waste cleanup, bat guano removal, mouse droppings,
decontamination, repairs, above ground and below ground rodent slick fencing,
odor control for skunk spray,
and the like. We are a full service pest control company with a wide range of animal control solutions.
I have been in the professional wildlife control business for many years.
My favorite stories and experiences are removing bats from schools and churches.

Getting Rid of Mice in Tempe, Arizona
We have house mice. I saw one in our garage several weeks ago. We have three cats and our male cat caught and killed a mouse in our basement last week. That night I put a potato chip out in our garage to see if we had more mice than just the one our cat killed and sure enough the chip was gone the next morning. Since then we have heard gnawing and/or scratching sounds in a wall in our bathroom, as well as at our attic door. Your extermination methods appeal to me because I am an animal lover and also because you seem very thorough. If you can be of assistance in this problem it would be greatly appreciated. Susan W.
Last Summer my family went to Vietnam for 1 Month and when we got back, we noticed there was Mouse Droppings everywhere. The typical places we find them are under the couches in our living room, and in my room under my small refrigerator and behind a dresser. Even though we set up those little things that make a small noise so that the rats or mice don't come there again, they still come. My Mom set up over 20 of those little things that keep the mice away from the normal places where they leave their droppings. She hires maids every 3 weeks to come and clean our house, I tell her to hire some experts to clean up or set up some traps so we don't have to waste money over all these traps or whatever, But she won't do it. So now I am forced to put matters in my own hands. Tommy F.
"We have mice in our attic that we have been battling for couple of months now with mouse traps and glue traps. We have killed several but still have them. We are now seeing them downstairs and in kitchen and need the problem resolved as we have a young baby in the house and afraid of disease and of using poison in the house.
