The people that live in Novi, Michigan are experiencing quite a potent problem with skunks.
I believe there is at least one skunk, (possibly a family???) living beneath my shed. My house and land is on a pond in the woods on a \"rural\" dead end road with half a dozen houses. There has been skunk odor lingering for a few months. It is dissipating and I have seen a smaller sized skunk at night a few times. I do have a live trap with cat food in it but it has yet to work and I do not know what else to use to entice the skunks to go in or how else to get rid of them. Since I do need to go into the open garage part attached to the shed and take out my spring and summer yard things I have to get rid of them. This has gone on long enough and any assistance would be greatly appreciated. -Lena P
Two skunks were trapped from the crawl space under our home about 6 weeks ago. We believe there are no more although the smell remains trapped and it is terrible-on the outside of the house. The smell inside is mostly gone except for the room directly over the crawl space and our basement (which is really bad). Residents in Novi, Michigan can’t seem to catch a break when it comes to wildlife problems.
We have a squirrel in out garage that is making a nest on our shelves. We have been unable to get it out of its nest is above the fuse box. We aren’t sure, but fear it has babies because t doesn\'t leave the nest area but it will come out when you enter the garage and makes noise at you. It is very aggressive and we don’t want to be attacked. -Monica B
