Animals are invading Ferndale, Michigan
The number of animals in Ferndale, Michigan is staggering, and the residents are fed up!
I found out that I have mice about a week ago; the problem is I now realize there are at least 5-6 caught on traps and now the remaining will not take the bait. They have been so bold to come up my steps to inspect the house not venturing through walls that I know of. They access the basement from the garage with some shoddy work by previous owners around the garage door. Saturday I saw three scampering about in the middle of the basement via a camera I setup. I cleaned the garage to find holes in my refrigerator backing. I cleaned everything, tightened up all access points, then went out yesterday and bought more traps and placed them around where they were coming from and no luck. I am freaking out because I feel they are breeding again in my drop ceiling. -Hunter B
We have smelled skunk around our house on regular occasions. I think it (or they) may be living under the house, but perhaps they are just active in the area. How can I tell if they have burrowed and are living under the house? How can I deter them fromthe house and the area for good? We haven’t had any problems thus far but we are worried about it with our dog. -Katrina H
There are bats that are nesting in the eave of my house, which is just over my carport where I exit my home. At any given time you can just walk out there and see one just laying on the carport, the ones on the ground were too young to fly but recently I have noticed them flying in and out of the eave and I have read a lot of information about them. I am just absolutely terrified of them!! -Jaclyn L
We solve many types of wildlife control conflicts in Ferndale and surrounding areas. Give us a call if you need expert animal removal and/or live wildlife trapping. We can also perform an inspection of your property to evaluate the problem.
Many of the projects we solve involve raccoon families in attics and chimneys, mud swallow nests on stucco, woodpeckers drilling siding, voles and gophers destroying lawns, rats or squirrels thumping and bumping around inside walls and in attics, bat infestations, skunks stealing pet food and snakes living in crawlspaces and stone walls.
Along with physical damage and disease, wild animals also bring along disturbance and nuisance with all their noise and commotion and smell. Baby raccoons chirp and chitter like little birds; raccoons and rats will fight all night and keep people awake; skunk smell takes the cake, but have you ever smelled a dead animal in your ventilation system? We have seen much, much more than these problems, but that is a general idea of the kinds of problems that my professional wildlife removal operators and I are prepared to solve.
Not only do my technicians and I trap and remove problem wild animals, we do a lot of other dirty work, too. Don't hesitate to call us for dead animal removal, pigeon waste cleanup, bat guano removal, mouse droppings, decontamination, repairs, above ground and below ground rodent slick fencing, odor control for skunk spray, and the like. We are a full service pest control company with a wide range of animal control solutions.
I have been in the professional wildlife control business for many years. My favorite stories and experiences are removing bats from schools and churches.

Wildlife problems in Ferndale, Michigan
The wildlife problems in Ferndale, Michigan have the residents at their wits end and searching for help.
There has been one gopher living on my property for several years. It has dug out a huge hole under my back steps, and under my shed. I looked outside this morning to see that it’s now accompanied by seven babies. One was bad enough! I need to get them out of here before there are 8 full grown gophers running around my yard. -Earl C
I believe I have a small colony of bats in my home. I can hear them in the walls; there are feces on the siding and the vent area that appears to be from bats. I haven’t yet seen any bats leaving the vent but I haven’t had a lot of time to spend looking for it. I need help finding and removing any bats. -Greysen W
The beaver infestation is in a drainage ditch about 130 feet from my house. The beaver dam is causing a problem for my property and for the property belonging to a neighbor just beyond my house. The dam is causing water to back up into a small ditch between my house and the drainage ditch, causing the small ditch to overflow into my yard and \\\"floods\\\" my back yard. The actual drainage ditch adjoins the property of my neighbor causing flooding in his yard. It appears that my property and my neighbor\\\'s property are the only properties having the flooding problem. -Owen R
