Animals are Going Wild in Brighton, Michigan
The residents of Brighton, Michigan seem to have more animal problems than they know what to do with!
We have been hearing raccoons in the attic at night for two days, it’s driving us crazy. We can hear the sound of feet and the occasional cry. There may be babies, but we hope not. Our dog goes crazy barking at the ceiling and windows. -Kimber C
Hello. On December 12, I had a gap on the side of my building and I heard an animal in the wall ever since then. The gap was fixed but I continued to hear animal noises. I told my landlords about it but they did not respond. I keeps getting worse and worse, I’ve heard multiple animals in the ceiling and walls running around, growling, and scratching trying to get through the wall. -Amos R
I have an entire list of things I need help with. I have raccoons in the attic, but there is no door or easy access into the attic to remove them. I imagine the ceiling will have to be cut open. I have already had a pest control company trap 3 raccoons and a squirrel, but they don\\\'t go on the roof or open ceilings. I also need the feces removed and decontaminated on the roof as well as in the attic. If it isn’t too much trouble after that, I need a hive removed from an Evergreen tree. Rosalind P
We solve many types of wildlife control conflicts in Brighton and surrounding areas. Give us a call if you need expert animal removal and/or live wildlife trapping. We can also perform an inspection of your property to evaluate the problem. Many of the projects we solve involve raccoon families in attics and chimneys, mud swallow nests on stucco, woodpeckers drilling siding, voles and gophers destroying lawns, rats or squirrels thumping and bumping around inside walls and in attics, bat infestations, skunks stealing pet food and snakes living in crawlspaces and stone walls.
Along with physical damage and disease, wild animals also bring along disturbance and nuisance with all their noise and commotion and smell. Baby raccoons chirp and chitter like little birds; raccoons and rats will fight all night and keep people awake; skunk smell takes the cake, but have you ever smelled a dead animal in your ventilation system? We have seen much, much more than these problems, but that is a general idea of the kinds of problems that my professional wildlife removal operators and I are prepared to solve.
Not only do my technicians and I trap and remove problem wild animals, we do a lot of other dirty work, too. Don't hesitate to call us for dead animal removal, pigeon waste cleanup, bat guano removal, mouse droppings, decontamination, repairs, above ground and below ground rodent slick fencing, odor control for skunk spray, and the like. We are a full service pest control company with a wide range of animal control solutions.
I have been in the professional wildlife control business for many years. My favorite stories and experiences are removing bats from schools and churches.

Woodpeckers in Brighton, Michigan
The woodpeckers in Brighton, Michigan almost outnumber the residents!
This is our second year with woodpeckers putting large holes into the pecky cypress exterior of our house. It is the same area each time, although this year he has expanded from not only the west side, but also south and north sides of the house. Last year I could not find a service to hire, so our handyman repaired and repainted 3 times; then for a brief time a year ago used a small sonar device to chase the woodpeckers and they were gone from February to October. There are 3 other houses in our neighborhood that have the same problem. This year the painter has already repaired once and the newest, and worst hole is 4\\\" tall by 12\\\" wide. -Olen Q
We have woodpeckers that come every year and cause severe damage to my cedar siding, in the same spots. We have tried netting, plastic owls, tin foil, reflective foil but nothing stops them. We need help. They peck on the side of out bedroom and wake us up early in the morning! -Felicia A
