Wayne County, Michigan is Full of Pigeons
Pigeons are thought to be a New York City kind of a thing, but here in Wayne County we see them more often than not. Whether it be on billboards, apartments, baseball stadiums, or buildings, we see them all the time. They’re common enough that you’ll often find bird spikes on roofs, windowsills, and railings. In cases when the sneaky birds get around these preventative measures they cause havoc, and the people in Wayne County want them gone!
We have a serious pigeon problem. We have lived in our home for only a month and already we had to remove three dead pigeons. They are leaving tons of feathers and excrement all over patio cover, roof and yard. We have also found bloody feathers and blood splatters on our walkways. Something must be killing the pigeons, which I am happy about, but what a mess. Couldn\\\'t you get rid of them some faster way? Sally B.
I am planning to move into a home next month. This home has approximately 4 to 6 pigeons that regularly roost there. I am not sure how long the pigeons have taken up residence there but I don\\\'t want them to stay there. The current residents of the home don\\\'t seem to mind them, but I don\\\'t know how they stand the mess. How must I get rid of them? Regina K.
We have a pigeon problem. They are living on our roof. Every time it rains we have an odor issue for a few days or even more during the summer. We have tried to keep them away from the air vents but have not been successful. That is probably what carries the smell inside. But, what besides smell is coming in? There are a lot of bird droppings that need to be removed, too. We have decided to ask for help instead of trying this on our own. Richee T.
I have a pigeon problem. Google has lots of advice for bird spikes and bird netting and hot to make your house \"less appealing to pigeons\" but I\'d rather spend the money to get rid of the birds. Just looking for someone to get rid of the pigeons so that they don\'t come back to bother me. Whatever i spend money on needs to do the job.

The situations we resolve and main trapping and removal services we provide are: raccoon families in attics and chimneys,
woodpeckers drilling siding. mud swallow nests on stucco, rats or squirrels thumping and bumping around inside walls and in attics,
voles and gophers destroying lawns, skunks stealing pet food, bat infestations, and snakes living in crawlspaces and stone walls.
Along with physical damage and disease, wild animals also bring along disturbance and nuisance with all their commotion and smell.
Raccoons and rats will fight all night and keep people awake; baby raccoons chirp and chitter like little birds;
skunk smell takes the cake, but have you ever smelled a dead animal in your ventilation system?

It Seems That Everyone Smells Skunk in Wayne County, Michigan
Skunks regularly enter neighborhoods in Wayne County, Michigan.
I have a skunk problem. There was an opening to the crawl space of my house. This skunk came along and somehow pulled boards away from the side to make the hole bigger. I guess she liked what she saw, because now she and her 2 babies are living in the crawl space. It stinks. Deniese D.
I think I have a skunk or two living under my deck. Last weekend around 8:45 pm I saw there was one in my backyard heading toward my deck. I quickly went back inside and didn\\\'t see where it went. A week later my neighbor also saw one in his yard and said he saw it go under my fence into my yard. I noticed a hole dug on the side of my deck and there is a lingering smell. David S.
Much to my surprise, I ran into a live skunk in my side yard. We both went opposite directions, and no harm was done. Now, this past weekend, I found and extricated a dead (and partially decomposed) skunk from under my deck. It was a disgusting job. The area is very difficult to get to, since the deck is low and was not designed to be disassembled. The smell hasn\\\'t really made it inside, but outside is pretty bad, and not getting better since the animal was removed. Maybe there is another skunk, but I have not see evidence of one. Now I need your advice: What do I do with the dead skunk? Put it in the garbage? (It\\\'s currently tripled-bagged in the side yard.) Is there anything that I can do to get rid of the smell under and around the deck? In addition to being low to the ground, there are a lot of leaves and junk under there which seem hold the odor. Toni W.
I have skunks living under my house. It’s a nightmare. My house smells, my property smells, even I’m starting to smell. I’ve tried to make loud noise and scare them off but they spray. I need someone to get them off of my property. I can’t keep smelling like skunk forever.
There’s a hole dug outside the wall of my barn. It doesn’t go deep but it goes back. I think I have a family of skunks nesting down there. The hole smells like skunk and I’ve seen skunks in the yard before. In need of someone who can get everything out and moved somewhere else.
