Willard, Utah Smells like Skunk

Skunks are out and about in Willard, Utah, looking for a place to call home.  Many residents are finding skunk dens on their properties under sheds, decks, crawlspaces, and just in the back yard.  The demand for wildlife removal is high.

Last night, while my husband was in our driveway a skunk came out between our house and the next door neighbor’s house, walked across our front yard, walked into the street and disappeared between the two houses across the road. We were a little worried but hoped that would be that. Today, I was in the backyard and a skunk came out from behind our shed, crossed the yard, dug a little spot under the fence and proceeded on the same route as yesterday. I’m worried that there are more here. We need the skunk(s) gone. Help!

We have a skunk that lives in our yard. He has sprayed both our two dogs, one spray was a direct hit in his eye. He is out there in the early morning before the sun is up and every evening without fail. Before we let our dogs out we have to check the yard to make sure he isn’t out there. He is so used to us now that he doesn\'t even run from us anymore. What do we have to do to get rid of him? I can’t keep living with a skunk.  Please help.

I have had a strong smell of skunk or rat that comes and goes daily in my main my closet in my walkout basement which is just below my kitchen. The smell is overwhelming! It has only gotten worse this summer. When we bought the house 5 years ago it had been empty for almost 3 years and had a mouse and rat problem, which we dealt with but we border national forest and there are always mice, pack rats, and other animals around. For a long time I thought the smell was a rat\'s nest but I\'ve never been able to figure out how to deal with it or how to get to it. I\'m now convinced, with the help of a friend, that it\'s more likely a skunk’s nest. How can I get rid of them for good? Are they in my walkout? Under the house somehow? I\'m baffled!

If you, too, are dealing with a skunk problem, give us a call.

We solve many types of wildlife control conflicts in Willard and surrounding areas. Give us a call if you need expert animal removal and/or live wildlife trapping. We can also perform an inspection of your property to evaluate the problem.

Many of the projects we solve involve raccoon families in attics and chimneys, mud swallow nests on stucco, woodpeckers drilling siding, voles and gophers destroying lawns, rats or squirrels thumping and bumping around inside walls and in attics, bat infestations, skunks stealing pet food and snakes living in crawlspaces and stone walls.

Along with physical damage and disease, wild animals also bring along disturbance and nuisance with all their noise and commotion and smell. Baby raccoons chirp and chitter like little birds; raccoons and rats will fight all night and keep people awake; skunk smell takes the cake, but have you ever smelled a dead animal in your ventilation system? We have seen much, much more than these problems, but that is a general idea of the kinds of problems that my professional wildlife removal operators and I are prepared to solve.

Not only do my technicians and I trap and remove problem wild animals, we do a lot of other dirty work, too. Don't hesitate to call us for dead animal removal, pigeon waste cleanup, bat guano removal, mouse droppings, decontamination, repairs, above ground and below ground rodent slick fencing, odor control for skunk spray, and the like. We are a full service pest control company with a wide range of animal control solutions.

I have been in the professional wildlife control business for many years. My favorite stories and experiences are removing bats from schools and churches.

For pigeon and bird control, bat removal, or relief from other pest animals, call our wildlife management experts. Many nuisance wildlife companies offer critter capture and control; our wildlife operators provide professional pest wild animal management. We remove the following AND MORE:

Animal Problems Growing in Willard, Utah

Everywhere you go, the people in Willard, Utah are having all kinds of animal problems.

My dog encountered a porcupine(s) late at night in a grove of trees on my 5 and 1/2 acre property. The vet bill for removal of the quills was nearly $500. My dog roams this area of the property during the day and sometimes at night. I am keeping my dog inside at night, however, he wakes me several times during the night barking and growling at the animal and I can\'t get any sleep. I work during the day. My garden is near this grove of trees and I suspect it has been the porcupine that has been eating all my broccoli and kale. Is it possible to trap the porcupine soon?

Hello, I would like a bid/proposal to get rid of the swallows nesting in a commercial building after their leave. We have already hired a company to continuously do weekly steam cleaning services for any bird droppings. I do understand that swallows are protected under federal and state law, however we would like to be prepared for and also to prevent from swallows nesting next year. Thank You!

I think there’s a raccoon living in my attic.  For about two weeks now I’ve heard scratching noises in the attic space just above my coat closet.  It starts around 10 PM every night without fail.  I noticed last Tuesday that a piece of soffit was torn away on my roof.  I put it back in place but the next night it was ripped out again.  I’m pretty sure that’s how it or they are getting in.  My daughter is terrified of it, she thinks there’s a monster in the attic.  Can you do something about this? I’m worried about the damage being caused and of course I don’t want my daughter to be afraid of our house.  Thank you.
