Tremonton, Utah has Snake Problems

Residents of Tremonton, Utah, have been seeing a rise in snake sightings as the temperature has gone up this season.  Remember, stay out of the tall grass and keep your eyes on the ground.

My husband and I saw a baby rattle snake go into a small little hole underneath our concrete driveway. We just moved in to our home in January and so this is the first time we have ever seen a snake at this house at all. I would rate this problem as extreme because I know that it is only going to get bigger and possibly breed and they are dangerous snakes. I am pregnant with our first child so I want our property to be safe and free from these snakes.  Thank you.

I have a snake living next to my garage door just next to the front of my house.  I have seen him several times this summer, about once or twice every few days. I think he is a gardener snake, but I’m not sure. Last year I saw similar one who ended up crawling into my AC unit and destroying it. I need to get rid of it as soon as I can, and I’m not sure if there are more. My biggest problem is that I am afraid that he will get into the garage and then into the house. Can you remove him and any other snakes around my house?

I recently purchased a home in Tremonton, UT. While there this last weekend I ran into two small rattlesnakes around the house. The house has landscaping so there are bushes close to the home with an irrigation system so water is also available. A bit away from the house there is also natural water drain that is mainly made up of rocks that I am sure would have some crevices they could call home. Also quite a few lizards and evidence of some rodents around as well. I would like to schedule an inspection. Just to see if there might be any larger momma snake that’s taken up residency nearby that needs to be taken care of. And to learn about anything I can do to keep them out of the house and hopefully to discourage them from hanging out around the house.

We solve many types of wildlife control conflicts in Tremonton and surrounding areas. Give us a call if you need expert animal removal and/or live wildlife trapping. We can also perform an inspection of your property to evaluate the problem.

Many of the projects we solve involve raccoon families in attics and chimneys, mud swallow nests on stucco, woodpeckers drilling siding, voles and gophers destroying lawns, rats or squirrels thumping and bumping around inside walls and in attics, bat infestations, skunks stealing pet food and snakes living in crawlspaces and stone walls.

Along with physical damage and disease, wild animals also bring along disturbance and nuisance with all their noise and commotion and smell. Baby raccoons chirp and chitter like little birds; raccoons and rats will fight all night and keep people awake; skunk smell takes the cake, but have you ever smelled a dead animal in your ventilation system? We have seen much, much more than these problems, but that is a general idea of the kinds of problems that my professional wildlife removal operators and I are prepared to solve.

Not only do my technicians and I trap and remove problem wild animals, we do a lot of other dirty work, too. Don't hesitate to call us for dead animal removal, pigeon waste cleanup, bat guano removal, mouse droppings, decontamination, repairs, above ground and below ground rodent slick fencing, odor control for skunk spray, and the like. We are a full service pest control company with a wide range of animal control solutions.

I have been in the professional wildlife control business for many years. My favorite stories and experiences are removing bats from schools and churches.

Skunks and Raccoons in Tremonton, Utah

Two very large raccoons have been climbing over the wall into my back yard. They are not afraid of me and do not run when I make noise to try to chase them off. I have a small wiener dog that thinks she is a larger dog and will bark at the raccoons when they come into the yard, but they aren\'t scared of her either. I\'m afraid she will challenge the raccoons and try to run after them and bite at them and then be attacked by the raccoons.  Is there any way to trap them or prevent them from coming into my yard?

During late spring I noticed some baby skunks running around the back of my property. From what I have personally seen there were two babies and a larger skunk, presumably the mother. After a few weeks they disappeared. I assumed the local fox had scared them off but today I saw one walking in the drainage ditch in front of my house and it went into the drainage pipe under an unused driveway access. I don\'t know how many are living under there now but I\'m guessing there could be 3 or more still in the vicinity.

We have 2 or more skunks living under our pool cover/motor enclosure. We were gone for a week and I think that is when they must have moved in. We were cleaning the pool cover last night and a skunk came up out of the area, probably disturbed by the water spray. When we lifted the concrete cover there was another skunk. We moved away quickly so we wouldn’t be sprayed but there may be more since the area is aprox.3 feet deep and 15 feet wide. We have a cat that uses the back yard area to lounge and our children use the pool quite frequently. We currently do not smell anything but have smelled skunk within the past few weeks. We appreciate any help.
