I recently completed a skunk removal job for a customer near Thornton, Colorado. I drove out to his farm located about 30 minutes from town. I passed acres and acres of orchards and fields. When I turned the long lane toward the farmhouse, I had to maneuver carefully to avoid hitting the grazing cattle!

When I arrived at the residence, the owner showed me one of his outbuildings that had skunks living under it that he wanted removed. After I removed them from the area, I sealed up the entrance.

After that, the customer ordered materials to install skirting underneath each of his outbuildings and his traditional farmhouse to prevent future visitors.

Raccoons make for angry homeowners in Thornton, Colorado

This summer I had a raccoon in my attic. I trapped it and disposed of the body [it had died in the trap]. I then blocked the hole in the soffit panel that it had used with a wedge shaped log nailed to the roof, intending to rebuild the roof area when I had time ... I now have a squirrel in my attic that chewed a hole in the fascia board above the log. I'm trapping again but I want to get the roof repaired permanently and remove any other critters [and their artifacts]. Carl E.
