I had squirrels going in and out of my roof vents. I was able to fix my roof vents so that they could not get in. Unfortunately they did not all get out. One has died in a location I cannot seem to get to. The dead smell is getting worse. I believe that it has been dead for about 3 weeks now. The problem is that it seems to be coming from the downstairs ceiling of a 2 story house. I believe that I have narrowed down the area, but now I need someone to come in with a small camera to find out where it is exactly. This seems like a better plan than ripping down the ceiling in the foyer... Hopefully there is a better way. Kris H.
Our roof is wood shingles in need of replacement. We are, however, are in the process of selling the house and will not be replacing the roof prior to the sale. Squirrels are eating holes in the shingles and entering the attic. There are now 2 entry points.
