Animal Problems in Park City, Utah

People are ready to move away from their animal problems, and in Park City, Utah, there is no shortage of problems.

Raccoons have been living in my split level home in the attic and loft. They run, chirp, knock spackle from the ceiling, and stick their claws through the vents in my ceiling. I\'ve seen them atop my roof. They are huge creatures. They have eaten my central heating and air duct work, eaten through wires governing my front porchlight, and urinated through the ceilings of my rooms. A baby raccoon fell through one of the ceiling vents that had been broken due to the weight of the heavier raccoon. I\'ve been living in terror. The raccoons are about to run me out of my own house. The problem is extreme. I\'m afraid for my safety.      -Will B

I have a family of beavers that moved onto my property about a month ago.  They are building dams in my creek which and water is starting to flood throughout my property.  I knocked down a few but there are more than I can fix, what I really need is for the beavers to leave.   -Carver L

I have what I believe is a squirrel in my bathroom wall. I\'ve heard a scratching noise over the last week while bathing. I\'ve checked for access points to no avail. I try to keep branches 15 feet away from my home but my neighbors refuse to trim their trees and there is only so much I can trim away. I see hundreds of squirrels daily when outside my home...my neighbor feeds them.  My roof was replaced entirely in 2011, I have a brick home. I have no idea how the squirrel got in but I want it out.            -Joy W

We solve many types of wildlife control conflicts in Park City and surrounding areas. Give us a call if you need expert animal removal and/or live wildlife trapping. We can also perform an inspection of your property to evaluate the problem.

Many of the projects we solve involve raccoon families in attics and chimneys, mud swallow nests on stucco, woodpeckers drilling siding, voles and gophers destroying lawns, rats or squirrels thumping and bumping around inside walls and in attics, bat infestations, skunks stealing pet food and snakes living in crawlspaces and stone walls.

Along with physical damage and disease, wild animals also bring along disturbance and nuisance with all their noise and commotion and smell. Baby raccoons chirp and chitter like little birds; raccoons and rats will fight all night and keep people awake; skunk smell takes the cake, but have you ever smelled a dead animal in your ventilation system? We have seen much, much more than these problems, but that is a general idea of the kinds of problems that my professional wildlife removal operators and I are prepared to solve.

Not only do my technicians and I trap and remove problem wild animals, we do a lot of other dirty work, too. Don't hesitate to call us for dead animal removal, pigeon waste cleanup, bat guano removal, mouse droppings, decontamination, repairs, above ground and below ground rodent slick fencing, odor control for skunk spray, and the like. We are a full service pest control company with a wide range of animal control solutions.

I have been in the professional wildlife control business for many years. My favorite stories and experiences are removing bats from schools and churches.

Vole Problems in Park City, Utah

Here in Park City, Utah, having a vole problem is an all too common occurrence. After long, particularly wet winters, the number of calls that come in for vole control is staggering.

“I believe our problem is gophers or voles. I have had them treated by another company in the past, but in the last year the problem has returned and is much worse. There are mounds all over my property, front and back, and even sides of the house,” said one customer.

“I\\\'ve tried to deal with this problem for the last few years by myself, but the little buggers keep moving throughout the front yard. I need for them to find a new home, they’re ruining mine!” said another.

Voles are attracted to high volumes of moisture which is why winter time plays into this equation; as snow starts to melt, people start to identify road-map like trails all over their yards and pastures.  These trails are often surrounded with dead grass and plants since voles chew and eat the roots, they can also be hazardous to people and pets!  Strained, sprained, and even broken ankles have been caused at the hands of these vole trails!
