Ocean City, Maryland has a large squirrel population
Ocean City, Maryland squirrels are invading homes and causing damage.
I have squirrels (chipmunks)living in the walls of a cottage. It is likely that they are entering through a crawl space or utility room. They run in the walls, ceiling, etc. I would like to contract with a repair person to fix the entry points, but am not certain where the access points are. Also don't want to risk sealing the squirrels in. Would like someone to take care of whole thing. Mary B.
We believe there are skunk/s living under our front porch/house. The smell of skunk has been coming back and forth intensively, as soon as it goes away after about three days and the smell stays in our home more then anything. Some people say it may be an animal sprayed by skunk but it is so intense its got to be a skunk, It is unbearable. We would like to get what ever animal/s out of there so we can block the openings knowing there is nothing inside that could die and rot and cause more smells. The space they are believed to be living in is a very tricky place to get a good look or sense of space. Please call with price ranges and actions that would be taking to get rid of this enemy. Mike M.
I have had squirrels chew through the soffits of the house and get into the ceiling between the upstairs and downstairs. Had them get into the garage and go through the rafters to other parts of the house. But the biggest problem is that they are going down the chimney. Ron D.
We solve many types of wildlife control conflicts in
Ocean City and surrounding areas. Give us a call if you need expert animal removal and/or live wildlife trapping.
We can also perform an inspection of your property to evaluate the problem.
Many of the projects we solve involve
raccoon families in attics and chimneys,
mud swallow nests on stucco,
woodpeckers drilling siding,
voles and gophers destroying lawns,
rats or squirrels thumping and bumping around inside walls and in attics,
skunks stealing pet food
and snakes living in crawlspaces and stone walls.
Along with physical damage and disease, wild animals also bring along disturbance and nuisance with all their noise and
commotion and smell. Baby raccoons chirp and chitter like little birds; raccoons and rats will fight all night and keep people awake;
skunk smell takes the cake, but have you ever smelled a dead animal in your ventilation system?
We have seen much, much more than these problems, but that is a general idea of the kinds of problems that my professional wildlife
removal operators and I are prepared to solve.
Not only do my technicians and I trap and remove problem wild animals,
we do a lot of other dirty work, too.
Don't hesitate to call us for dead animal removal,
pigeon waste cleanup, bat guano removal, mouse droppings,
decontamination, repairs, above ground and below ground rodent slick fencing,
odor control for skunk spray,
and the like. We are a full service pest control company with a wide range of animal control solutions.
I have been in the professional wildlife control business for many years.
My favorite stories and experiences are removing bats from schools and churches.

Ocean City, Maryland battles Rat Problems
Ocean City, Maryland wants to get rid of rats and their mess.
There are rats that have recently decided to live under the house and in the walls. They sound like they are trying to eat their way into the house and are teasing the dogs. I also have found a couple very tiny grey mites indoors -I'm wondering if they are from the rats? Have y'all ever heard of such a thing? Sandra M.
Hi, All of a sudden we have a rat problem....first of all we live in a very old house that is easy for a rodent to get into....also, we have half of the home in construction mode, so walls are torn out, and parts of rooms are stripped out to the studs....The house is raised and in our back room (an area we are going to be tearing down) there is literally a strip where you can look beneath the house (since we had to tear out part of the flooring) and one wall of windows is now... windowless and free flowing to the outside world....Second of all...there is construction going on down the street from us where woodlands have been cleared and new restaurants across the highway from us with, I am sure a great feast for pests....We have killed quite a few rats so far with traps and have spoken with neighbors that are having similar problems (they are using poisons). We have pets so do not want to use poisons if we can help it. It seems as soon as we think we are making headway on
getting rid of the rats...more holes are found chewed through the paneling walls....
We are trying to re build our house and I am afraid that they will eat it down before we
can build it back up!! Please let me know...is there a trick to keeping rats out of a home
like ours when it is under construction?!! Rebecca S.
Comments or Questions: I had a rat problem last winter but we managed to get rid of them using traps which is quite messy. I believe that they have come back because I hear noises in the garage and I recently moved a lot of furniture into the garage, which is perfect breeding and hiding place for them. Tracy L.
