Lansing, Michigan has Skunk Problems
Residents of Lansing, Michigan express concern over the following skunk problems:
It was last night that I first smelled skunk very strongly. There's a skunk under my house & I think she has had babies. This happened about 5 years ago also. It was horribly smelly around here for a long time. What kind of barrier will keep out the skunks and their smell? Susan O.
At least three skunks have found their way from somewhere in nature into my fenced back yard. They may be living under a backyard storage building. The smell is getting bad and they are coming on to the porch to eat the dog food. Scary! Carl M.
There is evidence of Skunk activity in the backyard. Haven't personally seen them but I do recognize the holes they are leaving in the yard. They are killing parts of my lawn. The smell is, of course, unmistakable. I need to get rid of the problem. John S.
We solve many types of wildlife control conflicts in Lansing and surrounding areas. Give us a call if you need expert animal removal and/or live wildlife trapping. We can also perform an inspection of your property to evaluate the problem.
Many of the projects we solve involve raccoon families in attics and chimneys, mud swallow nests on stucco, woodpeckers drilling siding, voles and gophers destroying lawns, rats or squirrels thumping and bumping around inside walls and in attics, bat infestations, skunks stealing pet food, and snakes living in crawlspaces and stone walls.
Along with physical damage and disease, wild animals also bring along disturbance and nuisance with all their noise and commotion and smell. Baby raccoons chirp and chitter like little birds; raccoons and rats will fight all night and keep people awake; skunk smell takes the cake, but have you ever smelled a dead animal in your ventilation system? We have seen much, much more than these problems, but that is a general idea of the kinds of problems that my professional wildlife removal operators and I are prepared to solve.
Not only do my technicians and I trap and remove problem wild animals, we do a lot of other dirty work, too. Don't hesitate to call us for dead animal removal, pigeon waste cleanup, bat guano removal, mouse droppings, decontamination, repairs, above ground and below ground rodent slick fencing, odor control for skunk spray, and the like. We are a full service pest control company with a wide range of animal control solutions.
I have been in the professional wildlife control business for many years. My favorite stories and experiences are removing bats from schools and churches.

Lansing, Michigan is plagued by Pigeons
Lansing, Michigan citizens voice their opinion about Pigeons.
There is an overwhelming pigeon problem on the roof of a foreclosed home that I recently purchased. The filthy birds have been living on the roof for a long time. The roof will be power washed soon to remove the nests, feces and other debris. I want to keep the pigeons from returning. Is there an efficient way to do this? Sunny M.
There is a serious pigeon infestation in my attic. Somehow, the birds seem to access the attic through a small crevice above the basement door. I don't even know how they fit through, but it is all I can guess. I need pigeon removal. Randy W.
Some pigeons showed up earlier this year and built a nest on my balcony. Then they laid eggs and now the eggs have hatched. I want them gone so I can clean it and I want them never to come back. It is amazing what a problem these pigeons have become. Aaron L.
