My problem is pigeons roosting on the ceiling of my house. I don't know the history of this problem since I've only lived here for about three months now. During one of the inspections, a leak was found on the roof and getting into the garage. When the builder was contacted, they said they couldn't fix the leak until the pigeons were removed. Hearing this news, I climbed up on the roof to assess the seriousness of the problem. From the looks of it, the pigeons have been overly comfortable for far too long on my roof. There is waste all over the roof which will need to be removed. There are nesting materials in a nook which will need to be removed and protected against. What's really annoying, other than what I've already mentioned, is that I can hear the buggers when I sit in my office to do work. Pigeons! I have pigeons, 2 or 3 maybe more, roosting in an open eave, 6ft. long by 8in. wide on my house. The eave was opened up a couple of years ago to deal with a beehive problem. There was a delay in replacing the wood to cover the eave back up and the pigeons moved in, out with one pest in the with other I guess. Now I believe they are moving in along the eave further.
