Woodpeckers in Coalville, Utah

Residents are fed up with the constant drilling and drumming of woodpeckers in Coalville, Utah.

A woodpecker has put a significant amount of holes in at least 3 locations on our home. We have cedar siding and our house is about 2.5 years old. They showed up about a year ago and are destroying our home. We had the tree taken down where their nest was (not because of the nest but because the tree was rotting). I have put steel wool in the holes and sprayed ammonia (ideas I got from the internet). We are at a loss as to what to do next.     -Jerry S

A woodpecker has been putting holes in our wood siding house for 2 years now. We have tried all types of methods to get rid of the woodpecker. We have tried the pepper spray, fixing the holes, a fake owl, aluminum foil, a bird feeder away from the house, and chimes. The woodpecker is currently damaging the back of the house with holes. We would like the woodpecker removed as soon as possible.         -Pam L

For the past two years we have had woodpeckers that come in the fall and peck holes in our stucco on our two story house. It is now spring and they were pecking this morning! We have called the Extension office who tells us to hang an eyeball balloon and tinsel from our roof. Really???? We need a professional opinion and it sounds like you are perfect! We know they are protected but stucco is not easy to replace. Thanks so much!             -Liz R

We solve many types of wildlife control conflicts in Coalville and surrounding areas. Give us a call if you need expert animal removal and/or live wildlife trapping. We can also perform an inspection of your property to evaluate the problem.

Many of the projects we solve involve raccoon families in attics and chimneys, mud swallow nests on stucco, woodpeckers drilling siding, voles and gophers destroying lawns, rats or squirrels thumping and bumping around inside walls and in attics, bat infestations, skunks stealing pet food and snakes living in crawlspaces and stone walls.

Along with physical damage and disease, wild animals also bring along disturbance and nuisance with all their noise and commotion and smell. Baby raccoons chirp and chitter like little birds; raccoons and rats will fight all night and keep people awake; skunk smell takes the cake, but have you ever smelled a dead animal in your ventilation system? We have seen much, much more than these problems, but that is a general idea of the kinds of problems that my professional wildlife removal operators and I are prepared to solve.

Not only do my technicians and I trap and remove problem wild animals, we do a lot of other dirty work, too. Don't hesitate to call us for dead animal removal, pigeon waste cleanup, bat guano removal, mouse droppings, decontamination, repairs, above ground and below ground rodent slick fencing, odor control for skunk spray, and the like. We are a full service pest control company with a wide range of animal control solutions.

I have been in the professional wildlife control business for many years. My favorite stories and experiences are removing bats from schools and churches.

For pigeon and bird control, bat removal, or relief from other pest animals, call our wildlife management experts. Many nuisance wildlife companies offer critter capture and control; our wildlife operators provide professional pest wild animal management. We remove the following AND MORE:

Wildlife Problems in Coalville, Utah

The local wildlife in Coalville, Utah has been causing problems with their human neighbors.

I began noticing the tunnels last spring, but I thought they were moles, my wife wasn\'t too concerned. Now, I know they are voles. They are in my orchard and garden and have been chewing my fruit trees. I did wrap the trunks, but they are still getting to roots. They ate my entire potato and tomato crops last year. I try to knock down their tunnels and we set out traps but we aren\'t making a dent in them. They are going to destroy my orchard, and I can\'t plant anything in my garden. Plus I\'m concerned about disease with them around our food!            -Dan R

The animal is in my attic at night around 1-2 in the morning starts making terrible noise, this has been happening for the past 3 weeks. Started as very low crawling noise I thought at first that there were cats crawling from house to house on the roof, never imagine that it would be raccoons inside the attic and the noise it\'s just getting out of control very loud. Please help this is really scary and frustrating.        -Adel G

We discovered 3 days ago that a rat or rats do exist in our garage. We had a honey dew laying on the garage floor to become ripe and found that it was partially eaten up. We used a glue trap that didn\'t work for 3 days. We kept the spoiled melon for that time to attract it and therefore a chance to catch it to no avail.  There is nothing inside the house, it\'s all garage activity so far.           -Cindy H
