Raccoons running rampant in Springville, Utah

We know that raccoons are common in Utah, but Springville seems to house about 50% of the State’s population!  These callers were willing to share with us the problems that they were specifically experiencing with the wily raccoons in their neighborhood.

One customer was having difficulties with a raccoon that was intruding on her property.

We are trying to clean out our shed but we are afraid to go inside because there is a raccoon that has made its home in there. It comes out and eats my cat’s food often, he will walk right under my chair when I am sitting in it, and it plays on my cat’s tower in the backyard. I don\'t want it killed, just moved to a safe place so we can clean out the shed. We are about to remodel and tear down part of the shed but cannot do so because of Cooper the raccoon (my daughters nickname for him). I don\'t want it to have babies or go after my cats or daughter and since it has been raised in this neighborhood it is not afraid of dogs or cats. In fact I think it thinks it is a cat. I cannot block the openings because I don\'t want it to tear apart the structure or die in there, will you please help me?

Two other customers weren’t sure it was a raccoon, but seemed to have probable evidence to support the idea that it could be.

I work for a local Real Estate and I have a contract on a property that we think a raccoon has been living in.  We did not see the raccoon or the animal itself but there are a lot of feces and urine throughout the entire attic.  I has covered the installation and has leaked through the floorboards into the dry wall below. I am hoping to get some help with a clean-up for the entire area.  Thanks.

We had an electrician out over the weekend and while he was in the crawl space area, he saw some animal feces said some of that appear to be fresh.  He said it looked like it came from a fairly large animal but we’re not sure if we have a raccoon down there.  It could be an opportunistic fox or even an opportunistic cat.  There are some paw prints and they point to a larger animal.  Again I’m not sure about these paw prints but it definitely appears to be a raccoon but I\'m certainly no expert.

If you’re experiencing problems with raccoons, or any other type of wildlife, feel free to call the phone number at the top of this page, we will be more than happy to try and help you solve your problem.

We solve many types of wildlife control conflicts in Springville and surrounding areas. Give us a call if you need expert animal removal and/or live wildlife trapping. We can also perform an inspection of your property to evaluate the problem.

Many of the projects we solve involve raccoon families in attics and chimneys, mud swallow nests on stucco, woodpeckers drilling siding, voles and gophers destroying lawns, rats or squirrels thumping and bumping around inside walls and in attics, bat infestations, skunks stealing pet food and snakes living in crawlspaces and stone walls.

Along with physical damage and disease, wild animals also bring along disturbance and nuisance with all their noise and commotion and smell. Baby raccoons chirp and chitter like little birds; raccoons and rats will fight all night and keep people awake; skunk smell takes the cake, but have you ever smelled a dead animal in your ventilation system? We have seen much, much more than these problems, but that is a general idea of the kinds of problems that my professional wildlife removal operators and I are prepared to solve.

Not only do my technicians and I trap and remove problem wild animals, we do a lot of other dirty work, too. Don't hesitate to call us for dead animal removal, pigeon waste cleanup, bat guano removal, mouse droppings, decontamination, repairs, above ground and below ground rodent slick fencing, odor control for skunk spray, and the like. We are a full service pest control company with a wide range of animal control solutions.

I have been in the professional wildlife control business for many years. My favorite stories and experiences are removing bats from schools and churches.

For pigeon and bird control, bat removal, or relief from other pest animals, call our wildlife management experts. Many nuisance wildlife companies offer critter capture and control; our wildlife operators provide professional pest wild animal management. We remove the following AND MORE:

Wildlife problems in Springville, Utah

Boy, oh boy; the animals in Springville, Utah can’t seem to stay out of the spotlight!  Customers have been calling like crazy looking for help with their animal invaders.

This customer was having difficulties with woodpeckers attacking her home.  Not only does this depreciate the appearance of the home, but the value also.  Here’s a little insight as to what was happening on her property.

My husband and I bought a house in February that had an existing woodpecker problem. I\'m not sure exactly how long they\'ve been there but they\'re definitely at home now. They\'ve created 5 or 6 holes in the wood and stucco siding and have now started to remove the insulation. The shiny balloons and deterrents have not worked. We\'re getting pressure from our HOA to have this taken care of immediately. Please help!

Some other animal problems that have been reoccurring, are those involving squirrels.  Squirrels are a close relative to rodents like rats and mice and can bring harmful contaminants into a home.  These customers weren’t positive that squirrels were the problem animal, but would rather not take a chance.  They called us with these messages.

I believe I may have squirrels in my attic I heard scurrying, scratching and movement today for first time (in the late morning), but a week ago at night time could swear I heard squeaking but thought I may have been dreaming and brushed it off. There have been no odors and I have not seen anything. No one has checked the attic but I’m concerned because electrical wires do go through attic. Can you check the wires while you remove the animals?

We have something rattling around up in our attic.  At first I could hear it at night when I\'d lay down in bed. It seems like I could hear like the scattering of feet at night, which was about the only time we ever heard it, from up above us. Then when we were taking down some ceiling lights (the long fluorescent ones) that we have in our kitchen we noticed a hole up next to where the lights are. My husband thinks it looks like it\'s been gnawed at and so we\'re now feeling that we really need to take care of this issue. I’m sort of thinking that it’s a squirrel. I really don\'t know what it is but if you could let me know I would appreciate it.
