Pittsburg, Pennsylvania residents are tired of fighting Raccoon Problems
Pittsburg, Pennsylvania has a large nuisance raccoon population.
For several years we have had a couple of raccoons in the area but they have had kids. we have counted 6 children and mother on our front porch eating cat food. One of our cats got a little close and the mother went after it. No visible damage to the cat but what a racket. We would like to get rid of the raccoon family. Mel R.
Vacant house next door has a raccoon infestation problem and the sewer line in front of our house also has a raccoon problem. 3-5 raccoons emerge from the sewer AND 3-5 raccoons crawl down the vacant house brickwork from the attic each night. Multiple traps can be placed on our property and it is highly probable 3 or more raccoons will be trapped in a single night. Ken S.
I saw 3 raccoons on my back porch last night. I keep a colony of feral cats on my property and forgot to bring in their food. I had a wildlife company out in the Spring and while he did not see evidence of raccoons on my property, he indicated they may be on my neighbor's property ... but they visit me looking for food. These appear to be small, so they might be the babies of the ones we saw earlier in the season (it was suggested they were in the neighbor's attic). Kathy S.
We solve many types of wildlife control conflicts in
Pittsburgh and surrounding areas. Give us a call if you need expert animal removal and/or live wildlife trapping.
We can also perform an inspection of your property to evaluate the problem.
Many of the projects we solve involve raccoon families in attics and chimneys, mud swallow nests on stucco, woodpeckers drilling siding, voles and gophers destroying lawns, rats or squirrels thumping and bumping around inside walls and in attics, bat infestations, skunks stealing pet food and snakes living in crawlspaces and stone walls.
Along with physical damage and disease, wild animals also bring along disturbance and nuisance with all their noise and commotion and smell. Baby raccoons chirp and chitter like little birds; raccoons and rats will fight all night and keep people awake; skunk smell takes the cake, but have you ever smelled a dead animal in your ventilation system? We have seen much, much more than these problems, but that is a general idea of the kinds of problems that my professional wildlife removal operators and I are prepared to solve.
Not only do my technicians and I trap and remove problem wild animals, we do a lot of other dirty work, too. Don't hesitate to call us for dead animal removal, pigeon waste cleanup, bat guano removal, mouse droppings, decontamination, repairs, above ground and below ground rodent slick fencing, odor control for skunk spray, and the like. We are a full service pest control company with a wide range of animal control solutions.
I have been in the professional wildlife control business for many years. My favorite stories and experiences are removing bats from schools and churches.

Pittsburg, Pennsylvania is at the mercy of protected nesting swallows
Pittsburg, Pennsylvania needs professional assistance to legally remove and control swallows.
I have a swallow nest tucked up behind an entrance archway. The nest is attached to the brick, just inches from an area of siding that forms the "ceiling" of the entrance arch. The nest has four newly-hatched babies...they were hatched perhaps two weeks ago. The entrance to my home is basically inaccessible, with the number of fully-grown birds tending the nest at nearly a dozen. The excrement is damaging the brick and badly soiling the clerestory window above the entrance door. We are really upset, thinking that the young swallows, who seem able to fly on their own, would be gone by now. Patrick M.
Barn swallows are trying to build a nest above my entry door. We recently moved into this home, but I understand this has been a nesting location in the past. Dan V.
We've purchased a home 2 years ago and this summer noticed 1-2 pairs of barn swallows (bright blue with forked tail) trying to build mud nests under the overhang on our home. They have not built a nest yet and we are hosing down any mud pellets we see immediately. There were no birds last year but we believe that perhaps in previous years, they made mud nests. Hannah H.
