Raccoon Problems in Payson, Utah

The raccoons in Payson, Utah can’t seem to stay out of people’s homes, barns, and yards; they’re causing quite a commotion.

I have a question about an animal that is probably either under my barn or it sounded yesterday as though it was inside of the barn. I heard what sounded like a flapping ear sound like you hear when a cat shakes its head and a high pitch kind of a whine.  I’m thinking that it could be a raccoon, I know there are plenty in the area.  Any help I can get would be greatly appreciated.       -Maria G

I\'m looking to find out what to do for raccoon removal and raccoon droppings which is what we have. I\'m not sure how many there are exactly, I think there are probably about probably two, there are definitely more than one.  They’re getting into the awning on the porch and they’re also tearing at the wall in that area. We just want help getting rid of the raccoons safely without any further damage to our house. Thanks.                 -Yazmin C

I woke up this morning with a raccoon crawling in my bedroom window.  It must have crawled and through the gap where the window AC units is.  However it got in, it scared me to death.  I was able to get out of the room but it is still inside of my room. I closed the door behind me and I’m kind of hoping it will crawl back out the window but I think the chances are slim. I need it removed ASAP.    -Carol S

We solve many types of wildlife control conflicts in Payson and surrounding areas. Give us a call if you need expert animal removal and/or live wildlife trapping. We can also perform an inspection of your property to evaluate the problem.

Many of the projects we solve involve raccoon families in attics and chimneys, mud swallow nests on stucco, woodpeckers drilling siding, voles and gophers destroying lawns, rats or squirrels thumping and bumping around inside walls and in attics, bat infestations, skunks stealing pet food and snakes living in crawlspaces and stone walls.

Along with physical damage and disease, wild animals also bring along disturbance and nuisance with all their noise and commotion and smell. Baby raccoons chirp and chitter like little birds; raccoons and rats will fight all night and keep people awake; skunk smell takes the cake, but have you ever smelled a dead animal in your ventilation system? We have seen much, much more than these problems, but that is a general idea of the kinds of problems that my professional wildlife removal operators and I are prepared to solve.

Not only do my technicians and I trap and remove problem wild animals, we do a lot of other dirty work, too. Don't hesitate to call us for dead animal removal, pigeon waste cleanup, bat guano removal, mouse droppings, decontamination, repairs, above ground and below ground rodent slick fencing, odor control for skunk spray, and the like. We are a full service pest control company with a wide range of animal control solutions.

I have been in the professional wildlife control business for many years. My favorite stories and experiences are removing bats from schools and churches.

For pigeon and bird control, bat removal, or relief from other pest animals, call our wildlife management experts. Many nuisance wildlife companies offer critter capture and control; our wildlife operators provide professional pest wild animal management. We remove the following AND MORE:

  • Bats from attics, eaves and belfries

What’s causing the stink in Payson, Utah?

It turns out skunks aren’t the only animals stinking up homes in Payson, Utah.

We believe that we have a dead animal underneath the house.  We were wondering if you guys can remove something like that, it smells horribly and is making my pregnant wife very nauseous. We\'re not sure what it is, but we think it might be a dead raccoon or something. If you wouldn\'t mind taking a look and letting us know if you could help us out with that we would really appreciate it.            -Jason E

I have a couple questions for you, I have contacted the Animal Service here in Payson to get there opinion but I\'m having a conflict skunks but I don\'t know how many there are exactly. They\'re living underneath my deck and have been there for the past 3 weeks already, it\'s getting out of control.  I have 3 dogs who are being sprayed on a regular basis and we\'re not sure what to do about it.  Some people that I spoke to last week had suggested that I get janitorial Ammonia and put it around the base of the deck to lure the skunks out? Someone also told me to stomp around on the deck and make a lot of noise outside to see if that would get them to leave (because they don’t like noise?) but it\'s not helping at all.  We\'re not sure what to do anymore, we need to get this issue resolved and I wanted to see what you could recommend.  -Jennifer S

We just recently noticed (in the last 24 hours) that a really foul smell was coming from a wall in our living room. We had a pest control guy come out to our house and he said that a dead rat definitely seems to be in this part of the wall. We know what it is and where it is, or at least we thing we do, so we were just wondered if you might be able help us remove it and take care of the smell?   -Paul G
