Rodent Problems in Grantsville, Utah

Rodents have hit the homes of Grantsville, Utah hard this year.  Every day we are receiving new calls and emails from people all dealing with one thing: rodents.  Here are some of their stories.

I have what are believed to be pocket gophers in my back yard. In addition to their mounds and destruction of the grass in the yard, they have eaten the roots of our rose bushes to the point that the roses have died. I have seen the animals, and, through my research on the internet, they do appear to be pocket gophers. What can we do to remove these animals from our yard? We have pulled out the rosebushes and are ordering new plants but need the pocket gophers removed before we feel comfortable replanting.  Thank you for any help you can provide.

I didn\'t think I had a problem at all, as I hadn\'t see any signs of anything, but the cats (2 of them) have been sitting in front of the stove staring for the past few days; then this morning I found a dead mouse on top of their scratching post ~ it was quite a shock... now I\'m wondering if there are more... and how did that one get in? There is also something definitely digging in the yard ~ maybe a vole? I\'m not as concerned with that as I am with the mouse or possibility of more of them. Is it possible that my cats caught a vole, not a mouse?

I have a squirrel infestation in my home specifically the walls, attic, and crawl space.  When I said in my home I mean the actual living space.  I’m also worried that now as the weather is getting colder that there might be rats and mice, too. I\'ve also seen a rock chuck in my backyard with babies and in my neighbor\'s backyard also. The neighbor lives behind me and shoots his gun or lights fireworks every night after dark, I\'m assuming he\'s having problems with these rodents as well. I am desperate for help and please need somebody to call me back.

If you or someone you know is having troubles with rodents or any of the other wildlife animals that are advertised on our site, feel free to give us a call.

We solve many types of wildlife control conflicts in Grantsville and surrounding areas. Give us a call if you need expert animal removal and/or live wildlife trapping. We can also perform an inspection of your property to evaluate the problem.

Many of the projects we solve involve raccoon families in attics and chimneys, mud swallow nests on stucco, woodpeckers drilling siding, voles and gophers destroying lawns, rats or squirrels thumping and bumping around inside walls and in attics, bat infestations, skunks stealing pet food and snakes living in crawlspaces and stone walls.

Along with physical damage and disease, wild animals also bring along disturbance and nuisance with all their noise and commotion and smell. Baby raccoons chirp and chitter like little birds; raccoons and rats will fight all night and keep people awake; skunk smell takes the cake, but have you ever smelled a dead animal in your ventilation system? We have seen much, much more than these problems, but that is a general idea of the kinds of problems that my professional wildlife removal operators and I are prepared to solve.

Not only do my technicians and I trap and remove problem wild animals, we do a lot of other dirty work, too. Don't hesitate to call us for dead animal removal, pigeon waste cleanup, bat guano removal, mouse droppings, decontamination, repairs, above ground and below ground rodent slick fencing, odor control for skunk spray, and the like. We are a full service pest control company with a wide range of animal control solutions.

I have been in the professional wildlife control business for many years. My favorite stories and experiences are removing bats from schools and churches.

Grantsville Wild Animal Control News, Stories, Events and Alerts

Wildlife Problems in Grantsville, Utah

The following stories are told by residents of Grantsville, Utah that have experienced problems with wildlife.

I have seen three raccoons in my back yard and in the surrounding area. I\'m guessing it\'s a mother and two offspring. They have destroyed my backyard pond, dug up the ground in random areas of the yard, and there is a \"latrine\" area next to my house.  Not only am I upset about the damage to the landscaping, I am concerned that they could become a health hazard as well.  If there is someone that could trap and remove them as well as clean up the latrine, it would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

There are pigeons roosting on my roof at night, every night. I have never seen them during the day. They show up about dusk and are gone in the morning when I leave for work. They are pooping all over my shingles. In fact, it was the poop that brought them to my attention. I think there are 4 to 8 birds every night. This problem started about 6 weeks ago. No other houses in my neighborhood have pigeons like this. What can be done to keep them away from my house?

I have one or more rock chucks living beneath the deck in my backyard.  I am interested in having them removed and controls set-up so that other animals cannot maintain a home beneath the deck.  There are two locations surrounding the edge of the deck where significant soil/clay has been removed, and I am concern about the extent of the tunneling that has occurred.  Someone from your company can visit my home at any time to examine the lost soil.   I hope to have these animals gone ASAP, so I hope to hear from you soon. Thanks.
