Chester, Pennsylvania has problems with Nuisance Raccoons

Raccoon Problems wear out the good will of residents of Chester, Pennsylvania

We have a raccoon problem at our house. Yesterday we had some birds removed from our attic and the access points sealed off including one that is not actually in the attic but lead to the overhang over the front door. We had seen a raccoon wandering around a few times the last month or so and the hole we suspected he may be using to get up there. They couldn't find the raccoon and just sealed up the hole. Well this morning I woke up to a raccoon size hole in the side of my house. She tore right through the siding. I'm assuming she was either trapped inside or came back for her babies that may be in there. David S.

We heard banging and thumping from the attic early morning for 2 days in a row. Went up to attic to see, there was no animal found. We did find a lot of doglike poop on the insulation. This was all cleaned up before we knew not to touch it. We haven't heard the animal since then but now there is staining in my son's ceiling. We think this is the same are where the raccoons were going to the bathroom. Bob V.

It appears that a mother raccoon has nested and given birth in the space between the ceiling of my porch and the floor of the upper deck. I've been hearing bumping since yesterday and today I saw at least two baby raccoons. I don't know how many raccoons there are all together and I haven't seen the mother but I think that is what I heard yesterday. Avery M.

We solve many types of wildlife control conflicts in Chester and surrounding areas. Give us a call if you need expert animal removal and/or live wildlife trapping. We can also perform an inspection of your property to evaluate the problem.

Many of the projects we solve involve raccoon families in attics and chimneys, mud swallow nests on stucco, woodpeckers drilling siding, voles and gophers destroying lawns, rats or squirrels thumping and bumping around inside walls and in attics, bat infestations, skunks stealing pet food and snakes living in crawlspaces and stone walls.

Along with physical damage and disease, wild animals also bring along disturbance and nuisance with all their noise and commotion and smell. Baby raccoons chirp and chitter like little birds; raccoons and rats will fight all night and keep people awake; skunk smell takes the cake, but have you ever smelled a dead animal in your ventilation system? We have seen much, much more than these problems, but that is a general idea of the kinds of problems that my professional wildlife removal operators and I are prepared to solve.

Not only do my technicians and I trap and remove problem wild animals, we do a lot of other dirty work, too. Don't hesitate to call us for dead animal removal, pigeon waste cleanup, bat guano removal, mouse droppings, decontamination, repairs, above ground and below ground rodent slick fencing, odor control for skunk spray, and the like. We are a full service pest control company with a wide range of animal control solutions.

I have been in the professional wildlife control business for many years. My favorite stories and experiences are removing bats from schools and churches.

Chester Wild Animal Control News, Stories, Events and Alerts

Squirrels cause headaches for Chester, Pennsylvania

Chester, Pennsylvania residents want to get rid of squirrels.

Squirrels in between second and third floor and in attic. Cant find the hole in which they enter. Over the past few years have trapped and killed several. Now it's colder and they are back. Need advice on how to permanently remove them. Frank C.

We have been having trouble with a squirrel or squirrels in the walls of an addition to our house. We found the hole and waiting until we though the squirrel(s) were out and then plugged the hole. There were two days of silence until this morning when the noises returned. We are worried that they are either stuck in there and will die or that they have found another entrance into our house. I am trying to figure out what to do next. Brooke P.

I have a two story home. Squirrels have entered into my attic and above my garage. They have eaten through the thin metal plate I had put above the garage. And they have also chewed a hole on both sides of the attic, too small of a space to get to from the inside. I would like to have an estimate of the cost to prevent them from getting back and living in the attic. I have caught 3 so far but they keep coming. Elijah E.
